Keep an eye out for us in Booths Lake District supermarkets this week as we’re delighted that Kin Vodka is an official sponsor of the northern retailer’s charity cycle challenge in aid of Cure Leukaemia, The Blood Cancer Charity.
Starting this Monday 24th May, a team from Booths will be cycling over 600km between all 27 stores across the North of England in their ‘Tour O’Booths’ fundraising challenge. Thankfully none of the Kin Vodka team will be lycra-clad (!)… instead you’ll find us at Booths stores in Penrith, Keswick, Windermere, or Ulverston – for the Stage finale – we’ll be there to throw our support behind the Lake District stage of the ride.
Booths are great supporters of local producers and suppliers across the Lake District, Cumbria, and northern England and have stocked our Toffee + Vodka since 2016. Kin Vodka has even been given one of Booths ‘Local Supplier of the Year’ accolades, so it’s nice for us to be able to give something back, and for such a good cause.
Booths COO, Nigel Murray, will be leading the cyclists and he and the rest of the team will have our Kin Vodka branding on their cycle jerseys.
Nigel said: “After a hugely challenging year for our teams at Booths, the tour is a chance to come together in a shared cause. This ride isn’t just about the cyclists – everyone from the Booths team can share and support in the tour. We’re so grateful for the support of our suppliers, part of the wider Booths family, in helping us achieve our fundraising goals.”
We look forward to seeing you at each store Thursday 27th May!
Come along & say hello!
